BARB NADEAU I have been a resident of Plano, Illinois for the past 17 years. I began my career with Nelson Multimedia in 1997 as producer of Fox Valley Today. I soon jumped into the host’s chair, and added writing for Nelson Publishing and news reporting for WSPY FM 107.1 and WSQR AM 1180.
I’m a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism/public relations, and am a proud Huskie and supporter of NIU. Additionally, I have an Associate of Arts degree from Joliet Junior College. My husband, Mike, and I have been married for 30 years and have four sons. My family enjoys camping, canoeing, hiking and most outdoor activities.
We have traveled extensively throughout the eastern and mid-western areas of the United States and Canada. I’m an avid reader, who enjoys sewing, beading and other handicrafts in my spare time.
