Replacing Certificates 
Gopher Savings will replace gift certificates to businesses that HAVE NOT EXPIRED that have either a) gone out of business or that B) will not be honored by the business. We will NOT replace gift certificates that can still be redeemed or that have expired. 

Here is how to replace the gift certificates-follow the steps exactly: 
1. Place all gift certificates that are UNEXPIRED in an envelope and mail to:

2. Include in this a list of what you would like to replace the gift certificate with in "Retail" or "Face Value". "Retail" and "Face Value" are what the gift certificates are worth NOT what you paid for them. Be exact! If you send in $50 in retail value gift certificates that cannot be redeemed we will only replace this with $50 in retail value gift certificates. 

3. Make sure to include your name and your address. 

We will mail the replacement gift certificates to you.

Who is gophersavings?

GopherSavings is a unique website/radio show and marking program for local business. Businesses offer products and services on GopherSavings in exchange for advertising and publicity. This is why GopherSavings can offer low price deals on gift certificates. 

 

What are the rules???

If you are a new of GopherSavings, welcome and congratulations, we are glad you have joined us. If you are a regular on GopherSavings, THANK YOU for your patronage and continued support. The following Terms and Conditions as well as FAQ should help you understand gophersavings. As with all things in life please use common sense when using GopherSavings. The following list is our most current version of Terms conditions and Rules we reserve the right to modify them at any time.

GopherSavings rules and terms of certificates:

 

1. Certificate Holder will pay sales tax when redeeming certificate and Business will be responsible for the collection and payment of any retailer's occupation, "sales", excise or other taxes or governmental impositions on the full value of this certificate.

2. In case of disputes GopherSavings certificates reserves the right to refund any money given for the certificate. Certificate Holder and Business agree that any and all damages shall be limited to any money given for the certificate.

3. Certificate Holder and Business will comply with the restrictions listed on the front or back of the certificate.

4. Entire certificate must be redeemed in one visit. NO CHANGE WILL BE GIVEN.

5. In the case of restaurant certificates, Certificate Holder agrees to leave a fair tip, not less than 15% for their server based on the FULL VALUE of the check!

6. GopherSavings certificates, at its sole discretion reserves the right to suspend or cancel participation privileges of any person or Business found to be in violation of conditions on the certificate or other policies which it may establish form time to time.

7. ALL SALES ARE FINAL

8. Gopher Savings reserves the right to terminate the membership of any person at anytime.

 

 

GopherSavings Frequently Asked Questions

 

Q: What if I don’t use the entire value of the certificate on one visit? And can I use the balance towards a tip?

A:  No change will be given if you fail use the entire amount of the gift certificate. Most of our gift certificates are intended for 2 individuals to experience a service or business. The unused portion of the gift certificate is not applicable towards tip.

Q: Do these certificates have expiration dates?

A: Yes, if an expiration date exists it will be printed on the front of the gift certificate. All certificates must be redeemed before the expiration date. No exchanges will be given for any expired certificates and we are not able extend any expiration date.

Q: What if my gift certificate is lost, stolen, mutilated or expired?

A:  Lost, stolen, mutilated or expired certificates have no value. Once you take possession of the gift certificate you are responsible for its safety and well-being. Keep the certificates you purchase in safe place until you are ready to use them. 

Q: Do certificates have any restrictions?

A: Yes, all certificates are subject to any restrictions or conditions listed on the front of the certificate. These restrictions must be observed.  Before purchasing gift certificates, please review any restrictions associated with that business on GopherSavings. In the unlikely event of a complication involving a GopherSavings gift certificate please contact GopherSavings atsupport@nelsonemedia.com.  We will help you rapidly resolve any issues.

Q:  Can I use more than one gift certificate at a business on the same visit?

A:  Using more than one certificate on one visit is not advised and if not specified on the front of the gift certificate is at the sole discretion of the participating business.  Contact the individual businesses for their policy.

Q:  How do I purchase gift certificates?

A: You can order gift certificates through GopherSavings.com by signing up as a new user or signing in as an existing user. You can also call in to our daily radio show Monday through Friday, 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm and place an order live on the show. The radio show number is 866-552-9500.

Q:  How do I pay for GopherSavings gift certificates?

A: GopherSavings accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover, as well as personal checks for payments.

Q: When will my gift certificates arrive?

A: Once you order is completed with payment received, GopherSavings will process it and mail the items to you. Please allow a minimum of 2-3 business days for payment processing and shipment of you order.

Q: How do I get my certificates when purchased online or during radio show?

A: All gift certificates will be sent to you in the mail when purchased online or during the radio show.  Please plan accordingly with any reservations or appointments made. Please allow minimum of 2-3 business days for payment processing and shipment of you order.

Q: I have not received my gift certificates, what should I do?

A:  Please allow minimum of 2-3 business days for payment processing and shipment, but on rare occasions it may take up to 5-7 business days. If you have not received your certificates in over 7 business days please contact us at support@nelsonemedia.com to resolve your issue.

Q: I bought a certificate and the business is now out of business, can I get a refund?

A:  As long as the gift certificate is not expired at the time of attempted redemption, GopherSavings will issue you a new certificate to any other business of equal value. Please contact GopherSavings at support@nelsonemedia.com to exchange your out of business certificate.  If the gift certificate has expired at time of redemption, regardless if the business is out of business, no exchanges will be offered.

Q: What if a participating business refuses my Gophersavings gift certificate?

A:  Please contact us at support@nelsonemedia.com to resolve your issue immediately.

Q:  Is there a limit on the number of certificates I can buy.

A: A: Yes, each individual business has a limited number of certificates that are available each week. Also Gopher Savings and some businesses limit the amount one individual can buy during a set amount of time. If a business is listed as “SOLD OUT” please check back on the following Monday morning when new inventory is released.

Q: Is there a membership fee for signing up with GopherSavings? 

A: No, there is not a fee or membership charge to sign up with GopherSavings.

Q: Can I purchase a GopherSavings gift certificate as a gift?

A: Yes, we are able to print your gift certificates as a gift; you just need to ask before they are printed. Contact us atsupport@nelsonemedia.com.

Q: Why is the “BUY IT NOW” option not available on your website?

A: The GopherSavings website is available for viewing only Monday through Friday from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm, while the live radio show is in progress. During this time we ask you to call into our live radio show at 866-552-9500 to place any orders. After 2 pm the online buying option will be active again.

Q: What happens if I forgot my password?

A: Check the GopherSavings homepage and under the “LOGIN” button, click on “FORGOT PASSWORD” and enter your e-mail address. Your password will be e-mailed to the address you have on file.

Q: Can I print out my purchased online gift certificates at home?

A: No, that is not an option that we offer.  All gift certificates are mailed out to you.

General Contest Rules

 

1.        If under 18 years of age you must have a parent or guardians consent and understanding to participate in the contest.

2.        All contests (unless explicitly stated at point of entry) require participants to use their own valid and real email.

3.        All winners will be contacted only by the email registered in the contest entry.

4.        Should a winner not respond to an email notifying them of their win within the defined time frame- that person shall forfeit their winnings. 

5.        Nelson E Media Inc. and Sister companies reserves the right to interpret and make final decisions of interpretation of its rules at its sole discretion at any time.

6.        Nelson E Media Inc. and Sister companies reserves the right to change the rules at any time.

7.        Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.

8.        Nelson E Media Inc. and Sister companies reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law. 

9.        By Entering the contest the contestant grand Nelson E Media Inc. and Sister Companies the right to register contestant in Websites owned or leased by Nelson E Media Inc. and sister companies. 

10.     Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest. 

11.     WSPYFM reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value. 

12.      Entrants further grant to Nelson E Media Inc. and Sister Media the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.
